Lindo Twist-n-Roll Tweezers Review

I kinda run the gamut when it comes to hair removal. Sadly, at the moment I can't afford laser and I refuse to shave because its really important to me to remove the hair at the root, as opposed to going through the hassle of shaving once or twice a week.     I personally found that removing the hair at the root slows hair growth considerably and the hair grows back finer.  Waxing and epilators are ideal for the body but not so much for the face.

Twist-n-Roll Tweezers by Lindo is inspired by a hair removal technique used in Asia called Hair Threading.  Hair threading removes the hair at the root using a thread.

Twist-n-Roll tweezers also remove the hair at the root, and unlike waxing will not irritate your skin.  Hair threading may require a bit of skill, however, Twist-n-Roll is super easy to use and requires no skill.  And is also hygienic.

I used this on my upper lip, it was quick and easy and did not irritate my skin.  Unlike waxing you can leave the house immediately after your finished.  There is also less pain, it may sting a little, but it's very tolerable.

You can purchase Twist-n-Roll Tweezers at  for a sale price of $14.99(AVR $17.99), I think this is a great price for a wise investment.

EcoMom's Strawberry Cheek Tint Review

I have never been comfortable using traditional makeup.  I  don't like the idea of putting harmful ingredients on my skin, eyes or lips.   The more research I do on this subject the more I have come to appreciate that common ingredients found in our makeup  not only have a negative impact on our over-all health but can actually be damaging our skin.

Fortunately we DO have viable alternatives on the market.   EcoMom carries products that are environmentally friendly, natural, vegan and organic.  I have come to appreciate the importance of all  specifications, one without the other tend to be moot.

EcoMom was kind enough to send me their Strawberry Cheek Tint.  I love Cheek Tints and the one I had previously  been using retails for $30. I don't even want to think of the ghastly ingredients I have been smearing on my cheeks.

EcoMom's cheek tint's ingredients are in start contrast:

Aloe Vera Gel, Vitamin E (a-tocopehrol), Pigments of Raspberry, Strawberry, Blackberry, Pomegranate, Red Wine, Plum and Cranberry, Vitamin C (ascorbyl palmitate), Avocado Butter, Extracts of Acai Berry, Rosemary, Grapefruit Seed, Japanese Honeysuckle, Oregano, Thyme, Goldenseal and Lavender, Witch Hazel

Is it any wonder this stuff smells fantastic.   I love the natural flush the strawberry tint gives my skin. It's a very natural, luminescent rosie glow.  I believe that makeup shouldn't be obvious, but rather enhance your natural beauty.    This hue would be flattering on anyone.  Most Likely all of the tints in EcoMom's line would blend with any skin tone.

I also need less of the product and it lasts far longer than my old cheek tint.  This is why the price; $13, is so surprising.  This goes to show you that you can transition to wholesome products without breaking the budget.

Grasshoppers; Pure Comfort & Style

The benefits of having friends that are older then I am is that I learn quite a bit from them. One thing I have learned is that wearing the wrong shoes is something you pay dearly for later on in life. That's why comfortable shoes is paramount to me.

Grasshoppers carries an array of stylish shoes that sport some very impressive features. These shoes not only look and feel great they will not break your budget.

Grasshoppers features a purfit comfort system that provides pure comfort and support.

I have to admit I had some trepidations about trying these Jensen Stretch Buck Casuals. The last time I received a pair of "comfort" shoes in a similar style and for the same price they were flimsy and provided little support. I absolutely love these shoes! They are comfortable, supportive and go with everything.

It is that time of the year and I have my eye on the Liza boot pictured on the left.

You can purchase Grasshoppers on their Website or you can find them at Boscovs, Hush Puppies, JC Penney, etc. Check their store locator to find a store near you.

Heads up-Grasshoppers is having awesome sales on their summer sandles.  Stock up kids!
