The beauty business is huge. Unethical companies prey on our desire to not age past eighteen. I'm often approached by popular skincare companies to promote their products and I'm always amazed at their inability to not only disclose product ingredients on their site, but their failure to even supply me with the ingredient list. I can only imagine the junk ingredients flooding these products.
Yet, people foolishly buy into the hype.
While I often advocate natural products in skincare, I still expect there to be a scientific basis supporting the efficacy of an ingredient or combined ingredients in a product. This is why I avoid mom and pop skincare/beauty products. The rudimentary act of throwing ingredients together does not make for an effective product.
Petunia Skincare is one of the few companies I'm comfortable endorsing. I like them because they deliver an effective product that is safe, vegan and free of the common junk found in most products. The reason their products are effective is because they have been thoroughly tested. There's legitimate scientific research behind the development of their products. Thus, there's a synergistic chemistry of ingredients that produce optimal results.
Vitamin C Serum for melting wrinkles
There are said to be numerous benefits to applying vitamin C topically. It has been proven to stimulate the synthesis of collagen.
Petunia C serum is derived from Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate and contains a twenty percent concentration. This is said to be optimal for skin benefits. One reason is a longer shelf life, which is of a concern since other forms of vitamin C tend to turn relatively quickly.
This is a great product. Other key ingredients:
Glycerin, Hyaluronic Acid,Pomegranate Seed, vitamin E. This glides nicely onto the skin and absorbs quickly.
Use correctly
It is advised to use a moisturizer when using this serum, due to vitamin C's exfoliating properties. This is something I haven't been doing and I have noticed that my skin seems dryer. I'm still happy with the results and intend on continued use, from now on I will be adding a daily moisturizer to my routine.
Kick aging in the butt
Kick aging in the butt by adding a retinol to your routine. I love that the Vitamin C Serum is compatible with Retinols.
Three easy steps:
first apply the Petunia C Serum, then Retina A or Retinol, then follow with a moisturizer.
