Anti-aging Products: Keeping it Young

Skincare junkie I am, I am.

I have been obsessed with lotions and potions since I was a little girl.  I remember my grandmother cleaning out her closet and giving me a bag full of various creams and lotion.  I even remember the type of bag, it was plastic with handles and rather large.  I carried that bag around with me all through the house while I played with my cousins.  Occasionally I stopped to admire my loot. I was more excited over my precious beauty potions than I was about playing with my cousins.  This resulted in some taunting on the part of my cousins who thought I was insane for carrying that bag around everywhere I went.

Well, some things never change.  I still love those potions.

Shinso is a more natural line of skincare and boast a rather impressive celebrity clientele that includes Jennifer Aniston, Kim Kardashian and Drew Barrymore. All these ladies are under a lot of pressure to look their best, so the skincare they choose must deliver results.

Another featured, more natural line is Elure.  This line won Best of Beauty in Allure magazine.

If I had a bag filled with these products I may revert back to the level of excitement I had when I was a little girl and carry them around with me everywhere I went.   At least for the first day before breaking them out for use.

A Beautiful Gift for My Grandmother From Ezistock

I recently discovered  This site features very talented artist and artisans from Thailand.  They have a beautiful selection of handcrafted jewelry, decor and so many unique gifts.

I received the beautiful Marcasite and silver heart necklace from Ezistock pictured below.  I wanted this for my grandmother, but I have to admit I was tempted to keep this for myself.  It is truly lovely and very feminine.  The last two weeks my grandmother has been really sick and I wanted to give her something truly special.  She loved the necklace and was super excited when I gave it to her today.

I also received this gorgeous hand painted lacquered box:

Can you believe the price of this box is only $11.85?! At the moment I'm admiring it on my desk, but it will soon adorn the shelf in the kitchen.

I'm absolutely thrilled to have found such unique gifts at such great prices.
