I have never been comfortable using traditional makeup. I don't like the idea of putting harmful ingredients on my skin, eyes or lips. The more research I do on this subject the more I have come to appreciate that common ingredients found in our makeup not only have a negative impact on our over-all health but can actually be damaging our skin.
Fortunately we DO have viable alternatives on the market. EcoMom carries products that are environmentally friendly, natural, vegan and organic. I have come to appreciate the importance of all specifications, one without the other tend to be moot.
EcoMom was kind enough to send me their Strawberry Cheek Tint. I love Cheek Tints and the one I had previously been using retails for $30. I don't even want to think of the ghastly ingredients I have been smearing on my cheeks.
EcoMom's cheek tint's ingredients are in start contrast:
Aloe Vera Gel, Vitamin E (a-tocopehrol), Pigments of Raspberry, Strawberry, Blackberry, Pomegranate, Red Wine, Plum and Cranberry, Vitamin C (ascorbyl palmitate), Avocado Butter, Extracts of Acai Berry, Rosemary, Grapefruit Seed, Japanese Honeysuckle, Oregano, Thyme, Goldenseal and Lavender, Witch Hazel
Is it any wonder this stuff smells fantastic. I love the natural flush the strawberry tint gives my skin. It's a very natural, luminescent rosie glow. I believe that makeup shouldn't be obvious, but rather enhance your natural beauty. This hue would be flattering on anyone. Most Likely all of the tints in EcoMom's line would blend with any skin tone.
I also need less of the product and it lasts far longer than my old cheek tint. This is why the price; $13, is so surprising. This goes to show you that you can transition to wholesome products without breaking the budget.
