How To Enjoy Fresh Coffee

Make Great Coffee Happen Part 2

Thanks to my co-host

I have a confession to make: I never had Starbucks coffee.  I can't get past the high price point.  I recently read an article on their website in which coffee experts share their tips for brewing coffee at home.  They offered tips that I've recently discovered to be the cornerstone of producing great coffee.   One such tip: "coffee should be ground fresh each time it's made".   This ensures the coffee is pure and fresh with anti-oxidants and flavor intact.

I've learned the best way to accomplish this task is by investing in a good coffee grinder.  I absolutely adore using my grinder with fresh whole bean coffee.

I really love my easy-to-use Cuisinart Grind Central Coffee Grinder.  It efficiently grinds coffee to my liking with complete ease, and no mess.  I'll never know how managed to live without freshly ground coffee.  This is one instance where you don't have to be rich to enjoy the finer things in life.

Some noteworthy features of the Grind Central Coffee Grinder:

Popular brushed stainless steel
Styling On/Off control for simple operation
Built-in safety interlock prevents operation unless lid is securely closed

Premium Coffee Calls for Premium Chocolate

Coffee and chocolate go together like peanut butter and jelly, or peanut butter and chocolate.  It's such a great partnership.  Fresh coffee boast antioxidants, and so does dark chocolate.  In order to reap those benefits the chocolate should contain a good level of cocoa and it should  be organic. This is due to high levels of insecticides used in cocoa crops.  I often treat myself to Newman's Own Organics chocolates.  All organic and ever so delicious!  Please see full review

Newman's Own offers a really wonderful variety of chocolate:

Organic Dark Chocolate, Organic Dark Espresso Chocolate, Organic Super Dark Chocolate and Organic Orange Dark Chocolate.  As if that blissful selection wasn't enough, Newman's also offers their popular cups:  Organic dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, Organic Dark Chocolate Peppermint Cups, Organic Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, Organic Super Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups and Organic Dark Chocolate Raspberry Cups
